Exhibitions Not to Miss: Autumn 2025 Highlights
This season, several VOLTA exhibitors present thought-provoking exhibitions that look to the future. Imagining new possibilities, challenging perceptions, and reshaping how we see the world to come, these presentations reflect the forward-facing vision of our gallerists. From poetic reflections on memory to surreal carnivals and urgent meditations on tomorrow, these shows spotlight artists and galleries driving the conversation ahead.

Icons and Illusions | Heiner Meyer
Until 21st October
Heiner Meyer, Silver plate, 2024, Öl auf Leinwand, 120 x 180 cm
A former student of Salvador Dalí, Meyer is now one of the most important representatives of German pop art. His works reflect the tension between consumption and cult, between promise and reality. In this context, he makes use of iconic motifs from popular culture, removing them from their original context and transferring them into a new, multi-layered space of meaning. His works oscillate between a glossy surface and a subversive undertone. An exhibition that allows us to see the familiar in a new light.
La Plataforma, Barcelona, Spain
