Marina Bastianello Gallery was founded in October 2012 in the heart of Mestre. The decision to open the gallery in Mestre is an affective question, which is expressed in the desire to invest in this city considering it a cultural incubator with strong potential. Since 2018 the gallery changes location by moving within the retail area of M9 - Museo del '900.

The characteristic of the Marina Bastianello Gallery is that it almost exclusively represents artists born in the 80s, following them step by step and thus building a cultural hub for emerging talents, becoming a point of reference also for curators sensitive to future artists.

In recent years the gallery has worked with national institutions and museums including: the Ettore Fico Museum in Turin, the Mart Museum in Rovereto, the MAXXI Museum in Rome, the Luigi Pecci Museum in Prato, the MACC Museum in Calasetta, the MAGA Museum of Gallarate, the Villa Croce Museum of Santa Croce and the Officine Grandi Riparazioni of Turin. Furthermore, with the constant aim of promoting its artists, the gallery takes part in national and international contemporary art fairs. Furthermore, the Marina Bastianello Gallery inaugurates its second location in Venice in September 2023.

The artistic director, Marina Bastianello, has constantly considered Mestre as a fertile ground for cultural incubation. The new Venetian location marks, for its part, a phase of full maturation, maintaining an essential common thread between the two galleries.
